Established in 1991 as Baytypesetters by Roger Cleet a time served compositor - who served his apprenticeship at The Visitor on Victoria Street, Morecambe. Roger has progressed from offering a freelance typesetting service based in the North West working for most of the larger graphic design companies into operating digital print equipment.
Baytype Digital Print was formed and has since invested in the latest technology and now operates a state of the art Xerox Versant 80 - which has the full back up of a maintenance contract. The workshop houses an Ideal programmatic guillotine, two plockmatic bookletmakers one set up for A5 and the other for thicker A4 booklets. We support numerous local charities and support them with raffle tickets or supply their print requirements free of charge.
