The Lemon Press
Our Heidelberg press is calibrated to achieve the ISO 12647 standard for reproducing colour throughout the printing process. Lemon Press has achieved ISO 14001 as part of our plan to put an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) in place. We can now offer large format printing including; banner stands, pop up display systems, display signage and posters.

Digital print has grown significantly as it offers some distinct advantages over traditional printing techniques. Our investment in the leading litho printing equipment ensures we can guarantee the highest standards of print quality. During these uncertain times, we want to reassure all our clients that production remains unaffected, and we continue to print and fulfil all current and new orders to the high-quality standards you all know and love.

Internally safeguards have been put in place at Lemon Press including following procedures and guidance supplied by the BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation). Sales and estimating continue as normal but to minimise risks, we have reduced the teams' attendance at our premises.

Digital printing is a modern method of printing using a digital based image, usually a high resolution print ready PDF, to print directly onto a wide range of paper stocks and substrates.
Initially digital print was used on short run print jobs.
Electronic artwork files are created and turned into a PDF which is ready for print.
These PDF files are then printed using high volume laser or inkjet digital printing presses.
Our Kodak Nexpress SE2500 is a high volume laser digital press so it uses an electrophotographic process.
The Kodak Nexpress SE2500 digital printing press is the only sheet fed full production colour press on the market today.
Lemon Press has invested in a digital press with a 5-colour print engine.
It has a range of inline features and reproduces 86% of Pantone colours accurately.
It monitors and manages colour consistency on every sheet - from the first to the last!
The Kodak Nexpress SE2500 digital press uses dry electrophotography to create the printed image.
The imaging technology is based on 600 dpi multi-bit technology and uses several different screening algorithms.
