We have nine automatic presses capable of printing 40,000 garments per day and up to 16 colours per design.
Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto material or a made up garment, except in areas made resistant to the ink by a blocking stencil.
A squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh holes with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the material/garment momentarily, this causes the ink to wet the garment/ material and be pulled out of the mesh holes as the screen springs back after the squeegee has passed.

In the Fresh Air art studio we have a team of three artists / separators with over 40 years combined experience of creating and separating images for all mannner of customers from rock bands to company logos to childrens wear.
Each artist has their own individual style and is able, if necessary, to create from the customers drawings or from just sitting down with the customer and discussing ideas.
