Print Scotland's vision is to be an effective association representing the interests of the Scottish print community. We aim to maximise support services to all subscribing members whilst promoting the Scottish Apprenticeship Scheme and encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion within the print industry. News: Scotland's printers prove they are essential workers too, with massive aid for NHS and other public services.
Printing is an essential part of the economy. This sector is large and serves all parts of the business and consumer markets such as central and local government, financial services, retailing, distribution, travel and tourism and the manufacturing industry. It produces a wide and varied number of products ranging from newspapers, books and magazines, through to money, passports, signage and printed packaging.

Services
Print employers in Scotland have been organised as a Federation since 1910 and our centenary in 2010 was marked by the publishing of a book of its history.
Throughout the last 100 years the Federation has had several names and the current one reflects the changing nature of print communications, driven by technological developments such as internet web and digital printing.
Members are offered services such as labour and employment law advice, the management of the Scottish Training Scheme for modern apprenticeships, health and safety audits and advice on environmental and quality accreditation.
