Services
McCormicks specialise in providing a competitive service in traditional B2B print requirements, branded promotional products, roller (pop-up) banners and many other 'graphic' services such as PVC banners, signage, hoardings, printed envelopes and labels.
We offer a fast and friendly service, priding ourselves in providing excellent customer service at competitive rates.
We taking every care to ensure that your experience with us is second to none as, unlike many of our larger competitors, we rely upon you returning to us again in the future.
Whatever you want to call it, Lithographic, Litho, Offset or Lithography - this process is the most commonly used 'traditional' printing method in use today.
The quality obtainable, colour accuracy and production speeds achievable ensure that litho provides the most cost effective production technique used by McCormick's for medium to larger print volumes.
The process is not ideally suited for very low volume production runs as there is a degree of fixed 'set up' costs associated with it that, while insignificant as volumes grow, can become prohibitive in short print runs.
Digital Printing has slowly but surely over a number of years improved to become a main stream production process option used by todays professional print community.
Technically it differs from traditional print methods, such as litho, by printing directly onto the paper substrate and therefore avoiding the use of metal plates to transfer the printed image.
At McCormick's we commonly use digital printing for certain orders and the specific production process used is not really anything that clients should necessarily be aware of.
It costs us the same to print a well-designed job as it does a poorly designed job, so why not add value to your printed project by ensuring your artwork is well planned, thought out and designed.
We can help you with this with stunning brochure designs, poster designs, flyer designs, logo designs and business card designs.
We use state of the art Apple Macs and PC workstations loaded with the latest software including QuarkXpress, Adobe photoshop, Adobe illustrator and Adobe in-design.
We undertake everything from designing a simple business card to more complex brochure design and corporate branding projects.
Quite simply, you supply us a text file in any format from Microsoft Word to PDF and we take care of all the imposition, printing, binding and delivery.
We will help you with the book cover design and any graphic content throughout the text pages.
There is a lot of terminology here such as perfect binding, burst binding, soft binding, Wiro-O binding, half canadian bound and case bound.
The most common type of book binding we supply is perfect binding.
Perfect binding is mainly used for paperback books, brochures and catalogues, however we will keep you right and advise what is best for your publication.
