Services
As a startup or small business, it can feel like the budget is too tight to invest in printed marketing, although it's very important to set money aside for it.
Printed media can help back up your digital marketing.
Because print media is a novelty in our digital age it feels good to touch a physical product, but a savy shopper will always check you out online too for reviews and more information.
If you can use both digital and traditional marketing together you're heading for success.
Print marketing is really well-suited to events, whether a large trade show or small local craft fair.
We all know a hopeless romantic, there's more out there than you think.
It's important to catch their eye in advance, get that brain ticking, then when it comes to the big day.
Prepare with print; get your valentine's campaign ready now (if you haven't already)!
Design up your offer or deal and get that online.
YESTERDAY.
Back that up in store with poster prints for your windows and table displays for checkouts or.
If you're a restaurant, bistro, caf or bar, make sure you've got some sort valentine's offer running.
You can either upload and order directly online, send us your files by E-mail to info@stewartdigital.co.uk.
If larger than 15mb you can upload using www.wetransfer.co.uk or deliver them to the office on a USB flash drive.
As an extra service for our customers, we've installed a computer workstation.
Commonly used programs such as Microsoft Word or Open Office are pre-installed and there is a universal card reader at your disposal.
Naturally, this service is available at no extra charge.
Bleed is a very important element that must be taken into consideration when creating any printed piece.
Below we have guides for ISO A Series Paper Sizes and A Strip Paper Sizes.
The sizes are in millimetres and will give you a visual explanation of how the sizes relate to each other - for example A5 is half of A4 size paper and A2 is half of A1 size paper.
The full sheet in each series is designated by the number 0. The longer length is then halved to give 1, and halved again to give 2 and halved again to give 3 etc.
So, A4 is half of A3, A5 is half of A4 etc.
The A series is based on A0.
The size, 841 x 1189, is one square metre in area.
It is essential for cutting purposes that there is a minimum 2mm bleed around your artwork.
For example: A6 size (105x148mm see our paper size guide for sizes) would be 111mm x 154.50mm, after printing this would then be cut down to the correct size.
Compression Settings - Both colour and greyscale should be down sampled to 300dpi with "auto compression" set on high.
Colour needs to be set as CMYK not RGB (RGB artwork will be converted to CMYK and this could have effect your colours).
