The word Gicle ("gee-clay"), is based on the French verb gicler which means "to squirt or spray" and was originally developed by printmaker Jack Duganne in 1991.
Gicle printing is a fine art digital printing method using specialist archival pigment inks and acid-free papers; creating gallery-quality inkjet prints with excellent depth of colour, longevity and colour stability.
The print process involves squirting microscopic dots of pigment ink onto high quality fine art or photographic papers using sophisticated high-end inkjet printers with exceptional accuracy, wide tonal range and colour gamut.
Using the very latest Canon image PROGRAF PRO-4000 inkjet printers and LUCIA PRO pigment ink technology Rush Digital Prints deliver a stunning colour gamut and impressive tonal expression.
Using LUCIA PRO 12 inks, colours are richer and blacks are deeper, producing prints that are faithful to your images.
Printing up to 44inches wide by any length our Gicle Prints are perfect for photographic, illustration, or painting and artwork reproductions that require maximum detail and museum quality archival longevity.
Rush Digital Printing provides museum quality archival photo prints in black and white and colour.
We can print standard photo sizes from 7 x 5 inches up to large format photographic prints at sizes up to 44 inches wide by any length on our range of photo papers and canvases from Hahnemuhle, Fotospeed, HP and Canson.
