George turned his hobby into a business in 1972 when he left his job as an electrical/mechanical technician and started Multiprint in Cowdenbeath.
Within a short period the company moved to larger premises in Kirkcaldy's Mitchelston Industrial Estate.
Under his leadership the business went from strength to strength investing in the latest equipment and recruiting the best people.
In 1985 he moved the business to four times larger custom-built premises in Seafield Road where the company is today.
