We operate a purpose built greetings card folding machine, the advantages of using this machine are the ability to crease in line, thus saving the expense of offline creasing usually carried out on die-cutting equipment and the face that the folding process is carried out using plough folds not rollers, giving trouble free folding of up to board weights of 400 gsm.
This machine is also capable of folding many other card based products where the grammage of the material would make conventional folding machines unsuitable.

Straight line / side seam cartons, we produce a wide range of these cartons from miniature sizes up to a blank width of 780mm, we only use hot melt adhesive which gives a very good bond.
Since the introduction of the now popular gift card carriers we have been involved in the production of all types of card carriers for many of the large high street stores, these range from simple 1 piece carriers to complex 2 piece carriers.
All types of folder are possible on our state of the art folder gluers including the rare ability to produce jobs with internal glue flaps, we can also automatically apply double sided fingerlift tape.

We operate a four head automatic paper drill with a hole size range of between 4mm and 10mm.
Our high speed Muller martini stitching line has 6 feed stations and a cover folder feeder, it is equipped for 2 up production and can endorse and conference fold in line when required, this machine runs 24 hours a day and regularly produces jobs of over one million copies, in conjunction with the other departments we are unusual in being able to produce booklets with pocket covers ect all under one roof.
